- After much speculation that Danger Force would be cancelled, it was later debunked after this season was ordered.
- This season began with a 2-part event following the events to the Season 2 finale, Unmasked.
- Furthermore, this is the second season to start off with a multi-part special, after the 4-part special in Season 2.
- This season introduced a new villain group called "The Cell".
- This is the 8th and final season of the Dangerverse franchise.
- This is the first and possibly only season of the Dangerverse to be completely serialized.
- Jace Norman made his directorial debut this season starting with the episode, Hey, Where's Schwoz?.
- Starting with Dumber Force, the remaining six episodes premiered on a Wednesday.
- This is the second (and final) season in the Dangerverse where the whole season is aired in production order; after Season 1 of Henry Danger.

- During the spring of 2023, Cooper mentioned to Jace he was done portraying Captain Man during a live stream on Instagram.
- In the winter of 2023, Dana Heath mentioned on Instagram that the season finale can act towards a series finale.
- On December 25, 2023, it was mentioned that Season 3 would be the finale season during the Monday's Nickmas Game by the commentators.
- On February 13, 2024, Tommy Walker announced on his Instagram that Drex would be returning in Ray Forgives, and referred to the last episode of the season as the series finale.
- The following day, Nickelodeon released the promo confirming the show's ending after the premiere of Ray Forgives.
- On February 21, 2024, the day of the final episode's premiere, Cooper Barnes made a heartfelt Instagram post saying goodbye to Studio 11 and the Dangerverse, and the other actors and staff showed their support and love in the comments.
