'''Swellview''' is a fictional American city in which the shows ''[[Henry Danger]]'' and ''[[Danger Force]]'' take place. It is one of the Quint Cities, along with [[Bordertown]], NeighborVille, Adjacent City, and [[Rivalton]]. Its citizens are called "Swellviewans".

The City of Swellview was founded in 1896 in the greater '''Swellview County''' of '''Swellview State''', and is well known for its railroad industry, and wind turbine powered electricity. Its heroes are [[Mika Macklin (ShoutOut)|ShoutOut]], [[Chapa De Silva (Volt)|Volt]], [[Miles Macklin (AWOL)|AWOL]], [[Bose O'Brian (Brainstorm)|Brainstorm]], [[Captain Man]] (formerly), and [[Henry Hart (Kid Danger)|Kid Danger]] (formerly). It is known that the heroes only save the people who live in Swellview (with small exceptions such as protecting New York City). Despite its lousy government and rules, Swellview is a popular destination for tourists.

== History ==
Swellview was established in the year 1896, the same year as its park. The Battle of Swellview was known to have taken place here, and presumably, its Declaration of Independence was signed during the war as well, mimicking the American Revolutionary War over a century earlier. The city's first public bathroom opened in its park in 1898. They also have a designated railroad named ''Swellview Valley Railroad'', a metal sign in giant white letters spelling the city's name, and a large lake, with a secret underground facility located beneath the depths of the lake, unknown to the city's residents except for its notorious criminals.

Swellview also has a mine shaft, which, can be implied, that hasn't been visited in years, shut down, or is inactive at the moment. A popular video store called ''Beta Maximus'' from the 1900s also operated in the city, until it closed down after years of service. Every 20 years, a big festival called SwellMelonFest occurs when Uranus and Mars are aligned in the solar system, with the most recent one held in 2023.

The city is located next to [[Bordertown]], where the Frittle Factory apparently shares borders with Swellview, and nearby to Neighborville, [[Rivalton]], and Adjacent City. Swellview also has an undetermined relationship with MetroBurg, the hometown of Thunder Man.

Sometime in 2000, an indestructible superhero by the name of Captain Man, emerges from nowhere and helps battle the forces of evil and dramatically reduces Swellview's crime rate.

In 2014, Captain Man hired a sidekick known as Kid Danger to assist him in protecting Swellview, as his fear of getting older and slowing down was catching up to him. For 6 years, the dynamic duo fought crime and defended the city from its various supervillains, culminating in a super showdown with its most prominent evil-doer, [[Drex Stinklebaum]]. 

In 2020, a statue of Kid Danger was erected on a mountain in Swellview honoring the hero, who was believed to be dead after steering a blimp into Mount Swellview so it wouldn't crash into a populated area. After Kid Danger's alleged death, Captain Man hired a team of sidekicks to replace him. Collectively referred to as the "Danger Force", ShoutOut, Volt, AWOL, and Brainstorm served under Captain Man until his retirement circa 2024. Captain Man promoted his sidekicks to full superheroes, leaving the Danger Force as the protectors of Swellview.

It is revealed in ''[[Christmas Danger]]'' that there are some ridiculous rules in Swellview:
*It is illegal to wear two hats at once.
*It is also illegal to bite ice cream on a cone, you can only lick it.
*It's illegal to take a picture of a rabbit without a permit.
*It's illegal to serve food without wearing a hairnet.
*It's illegal to spill even one drop of soup on the ground, even by accident.

Although unrelated to the above, many of Captain Man and the Danger Force's rogues gallery who have been arrested are often put back on the streets to commit further crimes in Swellview, for several reasons unknown. Corruption could possibly be a result. In addition, like any American city, organized crime plagues the streets of Swellview.

Swellview has a confusing government unlike fellow U.S. states, counties, and municipalities, and some of the things they do are very out of the ordinary. It is believed they score low on poor education in the city.

Because most ''DanWarp'' shows take place on the West Coast of the United States (San Diego for ''Drake & Josh'', Seattle for ''iCarly'' and Los Angeles for ''Victorious'' and ''Sam & Cat''), we can speculate Swellview to be on the West Coast too. However, with each episode, there comes many inconsistencies as to the city's exact location and coordinates as listed below:
*In an episode of ''[[Henry Danger: Motion Comics]]'', it is shown that Las Vegas is close to Swellview, since Captain Man was able to drive there very quickly. This may hint Swellview is located in the state of Nevada, California, or Utah.
**In ''Sam & Cat'', they have soda from Club Soda, which hints that Swellview is very close to the location of the ''Sam and Cat'' babysitting business in Venice, California.
**In ''Henry Danger's'' [[The Adventures of Kid Danger|animated spinoff]], Swellview may be in Arizona since the [[Texas Weiners|plot of one episode]] involved driving to the state of Texas for 1000 wieners.
**With Swellview revealed to have a desert in ''[[Whistlin' Susie]]'', this further confirms its location in either of the southwestern U.S. states.
**''[[Spelling Bee Hard]]'' confirms Swellview is not in the state of California, thus supporting the idea further of it being located in the other states next to California.

**However, it's mentioned in ''[[Secret Beef]]'' that Hollywood exists in the Dangerverse. That having been said, Swellview state is now believed to be located within an area that has forests and deserts, and wedged right in between the states of California, and Nevada.
